I'm sorry to hear of this issue. You're still going to have the same problem making blocker saves. Your arm moves up and down and around like a glove.

So here's the deal. I have epiliepsy and over the course of many siezures I have caused severe damage to my shoulder. How severe you may ask, I've got severe arthritits in my shoulder, I have a slice over 2/3 of the ball joint(so when it dislocates, which it does quite often, it gets stuck), and my range of motion for my left shoulder is absolutly horrible. Also the tendon that holds the ball joint of my shoulder has a big slice in it and that contributes to its dislocation at times. Now I have strengthed the shoulder so it dislocates less but cause of the range of motion and it being my glove hand, I was thinking of switching to full right, as I have great catching ability with both. I figured since I don't really bring my stick hand to much higher than shoulder height much it'd be a good comprimise.
Thoughts? Ideas?

think that may be your best option. sounds like a tough thing to work around. good luck with finding a solution! and props for sticking with it!
Hey Itech if you see this ordered my new glove and blocker and sticks fromGoalie Monkey thru your link. Should be some money coming your way.
Could you not use a brace instead? I have a friend with chronic dislocation (not sure that's what its called, basically both shoulders have dislocated, been operated on, dislocated again, etc.) who if I recall mentioned that there were braces one could use during instances (like sport) where the chances of dislocation are higher.
By the way, having returned from 5 month military service, after sorting out living details / getting used to civilian life, this Tuesday will be my first practice in over 6 months!
@Itech you're welcome
@Efe Haven't found a brace honestly at all, maybe you could check for me where he got it. I haven't seen any kind of sleeve or anything. I'd be willing to try it but I want to have a better range of motion on my glove side.

I'll try to ask my friend, just played a big practical joke on him today... so not sure how much info he'd be willing to share :)
I appreciate it. I'll look at those thanks efe.
I have to agree with Itech here. I jacked up my blocker side elbow over the summer. It is a lingering problem, because the stick/blocker side tends to see more action; i.e. poke checks, paddle down, etc. It just seems the that arm is much more active than the glove hand.
That being said, you've probably put more thought into this than we have. Good luck with the transfer.
Efe, thanks for the service. It is very much appreciated.
