I was at a party Saturday night with my boyfriend and I was standing there and turned to him to say something and out of nowhere the nerve damage from my stroke decided to fire in my right leg. It was the worst nerve spasm I've ever had. Ever. My leg gave out and I somehow twisted it (probably because I was wearing 5in. heels...) which has resulted in a knee sprain.

Not sure how long I'll be out...I guess until I can bend it and move without wanting to scream. I was supposed to run a half-marathon in a couple of weeks too...don't think that will happen now either.
The only stupid thing I see there is wearing 5 in heels! :) Hope your knee gets better quick. Lots of ice on it!

Yep, pretty much! Hence why I posted it in "supidest ways to render yourself inactive". 5 inch heels...sure, I looked good...but now I look like an idiot limping everywhere. Oh the risks we women will take to look good for our men.

Too bad "lots of ice" doesn't include a nice sheet of ice in some goalie gear. Pfft.

Don't get it twisted here sister... Women don't want to look good for men, they want to look good so the other women won't judge them as much.

Women only really care what other women think, because they know us men are dogs; and don't give a **** about clothes or heals.

Damn Itech, why do you have to be right and call me out on that? LOL! Too bad I was the only woman at the party that night....at it was mostly my teammates so I don't know who I was trying to impress anyway. Dumb. Reeaalllly dumb.

I was at my teammates house and I slipped on his stairs and hurt my lower back. But I had to play though because I was the only goalie
