I don't have back or neck pain but my knees are kinda ****ty. I'm not against spending money on footwear, I own 4 pairs of Oakley boots as a testament to my desire for comfy feet.

Oakley's are very comfortable boots. Wore a pair out in Iraq. I know that C&S sells these inserts that are supposed to be heat molded to your feet, however, I have forgotten the name of them. I have seen them sold in sporting good stores too. When I go to work tomorrow, I'll take a stop in to see what the name is.

I wore Bauer Supreme One 75's for three seasons. My feet always hurt, arches burning, raw spots, blisters you name it. Had them re-baked, punched out...guy who sold them to me swore they were most comfortable skates on the market. Finally had enough this season, went to a different hockey store, slipped on a pair of 6K's and was amazed at just how comfortable they were. Been wearing them for two months now and have had zero issues! So i too have sworn off Bauer skates

Bauer makes some great goalie gear but their goalie skates suck.

I know that the issue is probably fallen arches but my feet always hurt if I tie my skates too tight. Pretty sure it's a circulation issue for me. Maybe try backing off the tightness of your skates and hopefully it helps a bit.....Good luck.

I would get numb cold toes every once and a while and couldnt figure out why. Then it occured to me that the major artery going to your foot travels along the top of the foot. If you tighten your skates really tight i think you end up cutting circulation to your toes. I dont tighten my skates as tight now and it hasent happened since.

I'm on my third pair of Bauer's. I don't know if quality has changed. My first and second pair were awesome. I recently bought Nike/Bauer One75 (on clearance with plenty of dust on the box). They feel good so far. I didn't bake them as I've heard problems so I'm going to break them in just by wearing them. My feet do hurt a bit after an hour. I ended up getting a wider skate than usual so that might affect the feel.
There's a rubbery tab above the Achilles heel area that allows your ankle to flex. I don't know why they did that. It may be related to my feet pain. I might tape up my skates. It's an old-fashioned way of providing ankle support.

Try getting some custom comfort foot beds, I believe you could heat mold them too

I am flat footed and occasionally my skates will bother me, I'm in a Graf 750. I don't have a wide foot and wear their regular width. I wear an insole which helps out a bit, but might look into custom orthotics myself to see if that makes a difference.

Amazon.com: title/Superfeet Premium Insoles for Skates and Cycling: Shoes

I bought these, pulled out my existing insoles in my skates to lay on top of them as a template and trace with a sharpie. Cut the superfeet to match the bauer insoles and put both back into the skates. THey are great.
