This year will be different.

This year, we're going to win the championship, whether it kills me or not. This year, even if my defense is the problem, I'm making it my problem. Saves that I "should've had" will be had. Shots that no one has any business saving, I will have.

Well, it's all over.

I don't want to get in to specifics because I'm pretty upset with a few issues that occured during this game, but I will do my best.

So the game started as usual. We both came out hard and strong. The usual stuff was going on: pushing, shoving, etc. All seemed to be going well, actually. With that epic win (Refer to "story of my life"), we've catapulted in to the finals. Oh snap! Regardless of what team we face, we get two kicks at the can, and they only get one (Double elimination format). This is great! If we lose the first one, we can evaluate our mistakes and try again.

Well, playoffs are finally over, and boy was it an interesting ride.

So we finished spring league in 7th place. Our scoring was seriously lacking, and the defense were making simple mistakes that change games completely.
