Hello again, old friend!

My team got it's first legitimate win 2 days ago in an 11-5 victory over a team I've bested previously twice in another league. "Off in the Woods" apparently left the CAHL the same time I was ever so politely told that I suck because our team allowed multiple breakaways/oddman rushes. I was excited to see them again as my team is hurting in the morale department after switching leagues and bumping up a division from E to D. They'd won the week before while I was still injured against a team that had beaten us twice before by a 1 goal difference because the other team had no goalie.
This game started off close, no scoring on either end for the first 10 minutes, then my team managed to put one away and give us a 1-0 game going into the second. The other team came back and got a 4th shot away on me as my rebound control is understandably a bit rusty with me being off the ice for the last 3 weeks. Anyways, as the game progressed we continued to show two things. One being that we can score on goalies who are less than desirable and two that we still have issues playing as a team.
All in all it was a good game, and I felt good ignoring the fact that I've been gone less than I was supposed to be with my nagging groin injury. The injury didn't reappear during the game, although I had a couple other issues with my shoulder and right hip. Go figure. I did let in one 80 foot goal that I should've had, but I was trying to hot dog and it bit me in the ass. When we were up 11-4 I didn't really care much though.
I stopped 28 shots and we were outshot by the other team.
