Two Period Domination Ends in Acceptable Loss

We played the Orange team last night. This is the team which is in 1st place, and caused my meltdown a few weeks ago....
Orange got an early go ahead goal on a third attempt hack rebound. My guys answered back quickly, and kept the pressure up. I have a defensive pair that is notably week (but trying to get better), and Orange took advantage when they could.
As far as time on attack and SOG, we won the period. We also tied them for goals. We left the first 3-3.
The 2nd period looked like it might be scoreless, with both teams playing hard, and both goalies getting a workout. We left the 2nd ahead by one after my buddy ripped a zinger of a snapshot from the top of the blocker side circle. I'm not sure the other goalie even saw the puck once it left his stick!
Unfortunately, we seemed to run out of steam in the third. I let a soft one in off the toe of my skate. I didn't see any wind up, and didn't even move. Completely my fault. Outside of that one, they scored two beauties, and a handfull of 3rd and 4th chance rebound hacks, and 2 empy netters for a final score of 4-10.
We're starting to get to know each other's styles. Now we just need to work on saving some juice for the third.
