Guten Tag fellow netminders!

I don't actually know if any of you read these blogs I put up but here comes another one.

June 15, 2010: one of the most horrible games I have played all year. I have had games where the score was 8-1 but this one didn't even match up because those games were against hard to beat teams. The team that we played the other night was the last place team, yet to have a win after 8 games. Every goalie has their good and bad games but this one was hurrendous. You know those goals you wish you could have saved? Yeah, multiply that by 3 and you got my tuesday night. Also, to top it all of, the referee that I had issues with was back on the floor. The game started out to be fast paced and we eventually scored the first goal and then a second. I had made some alright saves and even nabbed a few shots with my glove hand. Then the other team scored. It was a sloppy goal. Left low side goal. I dont know what was going on but I definitely wasn't on my A game. It was probably due to the fact that I haven't eaten since 230ish and my game was 4 hours later. If you read this, feel free to comment and let me know what your favourite pre-game meal is. Anyways, the next goal wasn't my fault. No matter how many times I say "dont pass out in front of the net" my team doesnt seem to listen. Next thing you know the ball is in the back of the net. I was pissed off but it didnt last long when we scored. One of my mates scored a goal Bobby Orr style. He had been checked out front of the net and the ref didnt call a thing. Fortunately he was able to work his magic and land the ball in the net. The next goal they scored on me was my fault though. I wasnt angling the player off right and he ended up putting it past me. We ended up with a 4-3 win. The last period was pretty intense but we held off for the win.
