I haven't post a blog entry in over a month.

Long story short...it has been a long month. My son's team keeps loosing close game. 2-1 seems to be a real popular score. This past weekend my son had a shut out, the only problem the other goalie did also, 0-0 tie. He hasn't complained one bit though

Sunday my son got his 6th shutout of the year - a 16 save 10-0 win. Wasn't much of a game as you can tell from the score.

Saturday was a tough game which they tied 1-1. 2 plays that stand out

• early in the second my son was sliding to the left when a puck deflected off his defensemen to the right. My son stopped and was able to get his stick back to knock the puck away. I think he threw his stick which should have been a penalty shot. Luckily the refs and the other coach

Saturday my son played a team lower in the standing that has given them trouble before. They were able to pull out a 4-1 win. The goal my son gave up was a rebound goal. Played a nice game. Had a really nice glove save towards the end of the 3rd. After the game the other coach said my son is a beast in net. Funny thing is I told my wife that and she took offense to it not knowing what it meant. LOL. I explained it to her and she came off the ledge

My son played Saturday and won 3-0. He made 13 saves for the shutout win.

Sunday his team tied 1-1. The loan goal he gave up was in the 1st on the 1 and only shot in the period. Recently he hasn't been coming out of the net, playing at the top the crease, like he usually does. I think if he was higher he probably would have made the saved.

It has been about 2 weeks since my last blog entry.

Lets start 2 weeks back. My sons team played 2 teams at the bottom of the division and were lucky to come away 1-0-1. The win was a 4-3 win against a team that hasn't won a game yet. The other team played well but my son's team scored with about 1 minute left to take the lead. My son was off his game letting in a couple of soft goals

The other game was a 1-1 tie. He played well but let a trickler in under his pads. ...
