So finally after the summer break the Western Australian Ice Hockey League season is about to start . Last Thursday was the first pre-season training for the club I will be playing for this year. Due to missing 6 weeks with a knee injury ( Dislocated during a pickup game .. Managed to save the shot tho ) I missed out on the pre draft trials .. Thats right for some reason every club has pre draft trials to see who is going to get drafted to what team ..
Anyway first training session back and the club was over the moon to see that 7 goalies showed up . Not bad for Senior A and Senior B non Contact as there is the Flyers , Lightning , Avalance and the Patriots all looking for goalies for both A and B so only 1 goalie down .. not bad really . Training felt good as we all rotated in and out of the net and commented on what everyone was doing .

Still havent found out what team I am playing for this season due to the Draft not happening as of yet but with 3 more weeks of pre season and then 3 weeks after that the season kicks off properly I just cant wait to jump back into the net. Wish I could find out what team Im playing for this season tho as I want to vinyl wrap my mask ( no painters here ) with a team scheme.
