The 2009 Bauer Athlete Summit took place over the summer and here is your chance to take an inside look at what took place.
Bauer brought together over 20 of the best hockey players in the world to get their feedback over a couple of days. There was some on ice testing of new gear, photoshoots and of course, a scrimmage.

It was pretty cool to see the guys give each other hard time or chirp friends and teammates while out on the ice. Take a look at how the event went and let us know what you think...enjoy.

Over the past year Bauer has positioned itself as one of the top goaltending manufacturers with the purchase of competitor Itech, and exceptional stick, and skate R&D. This year’s Supreme pad blends great aspects from Itech's Greg Goyer, as well as the Supreme ONE95 leg pad. With customizable features, a completely redesigned trapper and key NHL athletes Bauer has clearly become one of the guys to beat.

The Supreme ONE100 goal pad is made for the butterfly position. An open leg design combined with a flat face, squared thigh, and triangular outer roll maximize coverage and seal down low. Itech’s “regulatedex” makes its first appearance on a new Bauer pad; this constructional allows a customer when creating a custom pad to choose how he/she wants the pad to curve around the leg. Whether it best stiffer for a taller, flexible goalie or softer for the narrow butterfly tender. Extending on the success of the Vapor X: 60, Bauer, similar to Vaughn, have set the graphics on this pad to offer thousands of possible colour combinations even with white/black/silver. Another strong move by Bauer was to utilize Itech’s relationship with Canadian manufacturer JRZ. Bringing pro gear back from China will definitely help sweeten the sour taste found in customer’s mouths when they are made aware of the pro products place of construction.
