wear a cat eye. u dont even notice the cage
I don't like it at all, purely asthetically. I just can't shake the fact that it looks like a Nascar driver's helmet or something. I'm sure it'll fine to wear, but i'm going to stick with the cage.
A cage made of plastic IMO is the future. Something see through or non noticeable would be amazing. And the mask will just keep getting lighter and lighter.
Fog would be a major issue but could be handled with anti-fog stuff. Sweat splattering on the inside would also be a problem as that would distort your view as seen through the sweat droplets.
It just won't work.

Have to be over 18 to wear a cat eye in my rink (not sure about the other ones). I wouldn't count it as as a HORRIBLE idea but then again, I've never tried on a cat eye. I agree with tflem that it would make the mask lighter. As far as visuals go, I absolutely HATED cat eye cages when I started watching hockey but it kinda grew on me. Maybe this might grow on us also.
certified cats eye would be allowed in your rink.
