Antti Niemi's mask.

weird, i really hate teal.

I really like teal, but I don't like this mask. What's going on there on the sides? All those gold and black squiggles. I can't figure them out?

It's not like he has a whole lot of choice unless he can get SJ to change their jersey color.

he should've stuck with the main shark with the teeth all around the cage and forgot the rest of the design. I have no idea what the black things on the sides are and i hate the cartoon shark on the chins sides and the logo on the front of the chin

Yes it was posted up last night on a Sharks site during the game.

Ok, I read somewhere else that the "squiggles" are actually a tribal flame. I guess that's a hold-over from his Hawks mask. The artist said it was Antti's request to keep the flame. I don't think it really fits, but it's his mask. If he likes it then good for him.

agreed! not my fav. The gold n black design I guess is to incorporate the colouring of the stick in the logo.....i think?
