I switched to Grafs after a really bad experience with Nike Bauers and before those I was a Bauer guy from way back, I have to say though in my opinion you will not find a better skate they fit like a kid glove right from day one and the Cobra chasis is probably the best off the shelf chasis out there. If I have to say something bad about them then I would say that I have heard from players that play a lot (3+ games a week) that the boot wears out rather quick which for a big money skate can be a kick in the nads...That said I play once a week maybe twice at the most and they are going on 3 seasons and they are holding up fine!!

I use a set as well, and no real issues. I had to cut the excess padding from around the boot tongue because of the arch of the top of my foot is a little high so the tongue really dug in hard! After a few quick cuts all is good. I had CCM all my life and find the comfort andarch support way better, its also been 17 years since I played, so a lot has changed with CCM I'm sure.

I tried the 750's last Thursday and didn't like the feel or the weight. It felt like I had a pair of clogs on my feet. Very nice construction to them, but I just couldn't bring myself to like them. As posted in another thread...I ended up going with the Bauer One100's and after 2 games so far...these things are heaven.

I have a pair of Graf 750's that I used for the last year 3-4 times per week and it is time to replace them. The boot has given up the ghost and gone soft. The 750's served me well and were comfortable from day one but it was time to replace them. A year for what are supposed to be top quality skates seems a little short. Purchased a pair of Bauer one100's and have used the 3 times. the improved attack angle where the blade grabs the ice in the butterfly and the reduction of weught is great. The graf's are great skate but if you use them frequently and agressively they will need to replace them sooner than you expect.
