yo ill try and get a pic tomorrow, but i bought a grip of hooks at home depot that screw into the wall i hang all my gear on them.
Nothing worth doing is ever easy.
I wash after every 3 or 4 ice times. I dry my underlayers in the machine ever time. Gear gets laid out on the deck or hung in the bathroom with a space heater every time.
I also hate being stinky, so I spray everything down with pet stain and odor eliminator. Works very well.
Then, it all goes back in the bag and back i the jeep. I'm on the ice every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. No point in keeping it somewhere else.

Bugs eat poop. There's no such thing as too stinky for bugs.

I was going to do womething like this in my house before I moved to my condo.... you can even drill holes into it and attach a dryer to it to speed up the drying process...
Now that I'm in a condo, I put my gear in my SUMO bag, then in my locker (I feel bad for my neighbours that have the lockers next to mine... ) but the SUMO does a very good job of venting, and the stuff is well dried before I play each week...
Sticks are just stuck in my locker as well, and then the jersey, and undergarments get washed each week, and just brought up and down to the car when I play.
The SUMO bag really is awesome...
I don't anymore, we finished our garage and turned it into a rec room/sports stuff storage.
But until a couple of years ago, I left my stuff in our unfinished space, which had numerous critters. I was playing in the summer once when I felt a pinch on the back of my thigh, near my knee. I had just got my pads, and had been fiddling around with the straps, so I figured I just had something too tight.
I was changing after the game, when one of the other women went "What is that?!" and pointed at my leg. There was a huge welt developing.
It itched like a mofo for a week. I never did figure out what it was that bit me. It was probably in my pants, whatever it was. Ouch. I made sure to shake everything out before I put it on after that.
That's disgusting, and the exact reason I don't keep my gear outside. Considering I'm in Missouri -- home of the brown recluse -- I have little doubt my leg would fall off within a year.
