Trinity Goalie Mask Design Contest I
I am proud to welcome GSBB members to the new Trinity Mask Design Contest, presented by The Goalie Guild, Head Strong Grafx and New Image Goalie Masks.

Official Theme: "Support the Troops"
Entry Deadline: June 22 at 11:59p CDT
The TMDC is a hybrid cross between the Medieval Mask Design Contest and Head Strong Grafx’s Facebook Contest. It also includes the crew from New Image Goalie Masks, as they joined forces with us to make on of the most unique and powerful mask design contests in the world. They are kindly donating a Shark 954 mask for each contest.
Similar to the MMDC, each contest in the TMDC series has a totally unique theme. All official contest entries must be designed with this theme in mind and then submitted through the official TMDC Facebook Contest Page.
Once the Submission Deadline passes, a Judging Panel (comprised of TGG, HSG and New Image staff members) will select the Top-10 Finalists. After the finalists are chosen, the Showcase Round begins when all 10 entries are posted for display on The Goalie Guild. The Showcase Round lasts three full days, which is the same time period allowed for the Top-10 Finalists to write and submit a 250-word (or less) essay.
Again, just like in the MMDC, this essay is a way for the finalists to enhance their design before the Voting Round begins. Finalists can tell a short story on why their entry is worthy of the Grand Prize, or they can simply describe their design and how it connects to the official theme. The essay should also sway and persuade voters to choose your entry.
Once the Showcase Round ends, the Voting Round begins and anyone can vote on their favorite designs. The Voting Round will last close to a week and take place on the official TMDC Facebook Contest Page. The Grand Prize and Top-5 winners will be determined at the deadline and the prizes will be offered up from the Trinity and the contest sponsors.
I look forward to seeing awesome entries for this contest. I am really excited about the setup. Now the voters will determine who wins the contest and the prizes. The structure of the contest also makes it much easier to submit, view, get details, etc.
Speaking of prizes, second place wins a SIGNED HENRIK LUNDQVIST BAUER STICK.

Without their support, my contest ideas would not have been able to grow into what is now the Trinity Mask Design Contest.

TMDC 1 Participants,Just a heads up that due to numerous requests and scheduling conflicts, we have extended the deadline for our contest. The new Submission Deadline is July 4 at midnight CDT. This change is due to a variety of reasons, including our coverage of the NHL Entry Draft for the NHL.com website this weekend at the XCEL Energy Center. We have been covering goalies for NHL.com since the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and now we have the opportunity to cover the goalies at this weekend's Entry Draft. Some people that have entered online still have incomplete entries, so please be sure to use the extra two weeks to complete them and help spread the word about this contest.Thanks for your patience and let me know if you have any questions about the contest! I have also attached a photo of the runner-up prize, a signed Bauer goalie stick by Henrik Lundqvist. The extension also allows The Goalie Guild to offer each person who submits an official entry a FREE premium membership to our website, which is currently in maintenance mode for a few more days.
