Glad you like it, I started this site because I was a new goalie, and the other competitive boards just ended up giving me grief for asking simple questions. I wish I had. I started playing goal when I was 14, which is about 13 years ago. Back then all I had were live NHL games to watch and hockey cards to emulate. I still remember practicing my stance by looking at two cards: a picture of Hasek in a stance I never actually saw him use in a game and one of Khabibulin in a low crouch. That's how I learned, sadly enough.
Its funny cause I asked what to do with some extra strap and found out so much more about how the pads should be worn. Never knew. Now I have some confidence I am at least wearing the stuff correctly.
How I do them up
This is how I do mine up, it rarely comes undone. :)
