I've tried thigh boards, thigh guards, and knee pads. The only thing that has been suitable enough for me was the built in knee protection on the Bauer One95 pants.

I wish I could find some really used One95 pants or find someone who would sell me the knee/thighs from those pants so I could sew them in. I'd love to try it out.

I use the Reebok Revoke knee protection, and it works very well. No real complaints yet. That said, I'm always open to using new things and trying them out. I got a pair of Vaughn 7700 thigh guard to see them, but I didn't trust them enough to even put on my pads. Just reselling them ASAP. I looked at the Reebok pro knee guards, but they didn't feel comfy in the store. Same thing for the Vaughn knee protectors.. just didn't feel that comfortable. Best thing for comfort was a pair of game used Garth Snow knee protectors, but they weren't adequate protection AT ALL.

Tried plenty and seem to come back to the knee savers from Goalie Heaven. They have worked with several differentpads with no issues for me. At least until Phil gets thru the prototype phase and releases his stand-alone knee pads.

I'm all for the Vaughn 7700's...just love the fit and feel. I love how they fit perfectly into the knee cradle of my pads as well. Tons of protection on them as well...even though they do not look like it though. I've tried the others with the plastic crap on the knee and they just plain suck...if they shift at all and you drop into your fly...you'll have the plastic cup drive right into your kneecap.

Just me but the 7700's are by far the best bang for the buck.

I'm looking forward to those, as well. I sent him a PM about getting some, but he hasn't responded. I'm assuming they're still in development.

Thanks for all the responses. Sounds like I'm not the only one that has problems. I may have to try a few of these things to find the right solution.

That's why we're here. Hopefully as a team we can help each other out. :)
