Fusion Goalie Masks

I did a search and couldn't find a Fusion mask thread, so here it is...

I'm really considering getting a Fusion mask with a few requests to be done to it. I don't know much about them and would love for your guys opinions and suggestions and if you have a Fusion post some pictures and maybe so pro's and con's.

Is the 9961 based or made from the same shell/mold as a 960/961?

Do it!! I have one and love it!! The only problem I have had is I didn't like the stock sweatband, I found it to be too thick, but I bought a thinner replacement sweatband and my fusion 9961 fits perfect!! I have used mine for the last season and a half and it is bulletproof! I never get ringers or even feel much when I get hit in the head, great mask at a great price!!

I have the 9961, as well, and it's the best mask I've worn thus far. Also have worn the stock 961, which I found heavy. Extremely nice protection (no ringers), great visual lines, everything is great. My only gripes were some bits of burs in the ear holes and the backplate's strap holes were just a tad asymmetrical (didn't affect the performance or fit), but at that price, who cares?

Definitely not the same mold as an Itech 961. I own the Fusion zero 961 and the Fusion MMX. So far, I think I prefer the MMX because of its slimmer profile and vents in the chin. The zero 961 has no vent holes in the chin and fits very obviously wider.

Both are GREAT for protecting your brain.
