I had posted a pic in one of the other threads, but I figured I'd share the details here too:

    Mask:
    Bauer NME3
    - seems to get the job done. I actually took a shot off the top last week and didn't feel bad. I'd like to upgrade to an NME5 or NME7 at some point.

Neck: Vaughn 8000 Neck Guard Shirt + Bauer Dangler I like the integrated shirt with the Vaughn protector. I find this a lot more comfortable than the 'collar only' style protectors which seem to make me feel like I'm being strangled. I added the dangler just for some added peace of mind. I don't feel restricted in any way with it on, so I intend to hang on to it.

Chest: Bauer Elite - Comfortable and fits well. The clavicle protection doesn't eat my neck for breakfast. It fits a little big so I took off the bottom velcro-able attachments. I like to tuck my C/A into my pants and tie it in place anyway, so this seems like a reasonable compromise.

Glove: Bauer RX6 - Fits OK. The pocket seems a little smaller than one of my goalie colleague's Bauer One60, but no real complaints here.

Blocker: Bauer RX6 - Comfortable and fits well. It seems pretty easy to deflect shots into the corner with it, so I like that quite a bit!

Jock: Bauer GJOCK - Fits well and is comfortable. I haven't had to put it to the test yet, and frankly hope I don't have to!

    Pants:
Bauer Elite: They're super comfortable and really deaden impact (either from shots or if I fall over, being new, lol). I like the V-flex design and having the inner and outer belts as well. I use these with suspenders.

Pads: Bauer RX6: They fit OK. It seems like the leg straps don't have quite enough holes in them - it's easier to keep them tight at the upper leg and knee and harder at the lower leg and just above the ankle. I'm half tempted to try to punch a few additional holes in the straps. I didn't much care for the integrated knee guards, though, and took them out completely. I like the ones on the Elite pants much better. I like having toe ties.

Skates: Bauer Supreme One60 - Good price and pretty easy to break in. They are really comfortable now. I added some SuperFeet inserts which I hope will increase the lifetime of the skates, since I can just replace these liners as they wear rather than the liners in the skate itself.

Sticks: Sherwood G5030 and G9950 - Price was pretty reasonable and they seem to be holding up pretty well so far. I use a 26" model for both. I've really only used the 5030 so far and I have the 9950 so I'll have a spare when I start playing in a league.

Bag: Bauer Deluxe Wheel Bag - Fits all my stuff (I carry my pads separately). The wheels are handy, though I can lift it if necessary.

Misc: When I was breaking in my skates (and just getting started, for that matter) - I managed to develop a really nasty blister on my right ankle. (I'll leave out the gory details, lol). Anyway, I started putting a gauze pad and taping it in place before each skate, but wasn't that enamored with this approach. (I figured I'd go through a lot of tape and gauze and pulling the tape off after each game was uncomfortable.) Instead I found these neoprene ankle booties called EZeeFit ankle booties. They work great, I've had no further problems, and I can throw them in the wash on the gentle cycle between uses - they weren't too expensive either

I also opted for the Vaughn 8800 underwear - really comfortable, not too tight not too baggy - really perfect.

I think that's it - took quite some time to assemble everything, but I'm pretty happy. Eventually I'll probably upgrade some stuff, but not for awhile!

    Victor Sussman,

Most of the gear you are wearing I had over a year ago and to be honest, in the beer league I play in the equipment put me in the hospital...more than once. I obviously replaced it since.

The Bauer RX6 gear (all of it) and the NME3 mask cannot take the pounding and will not protect you against any high level of play. Depending on the skill level of the shooters you are facing you might be perfectly fine (high school and below skill level), but if you plan on advancing I would recommend you consider upgrading your gear based on personal experience. At a bare minimum Bauer RX8 or Brian's H-series. I'm not familiar with Reebok's family of equipment so I cannot comment on them. (I'm a Vaughn/Brian's preference)
