Absolutely there are differences, this is why there are price differences. With each level you're getting higher quality materials and padding, which gives you added protection.
Answer is yes.
I have an L7 blocker, never feel a thing. I have go more by sound and vision than by feel. I have not tried any other Reebok gloves to compare though.
Like Itech said, you'll get what you pay for.

My business is stopping pucks and business is.........going bankrupt.
I got the larceny blocker and glove and the comfort is unreal compared to L7 or L9. There is also more padding on both. The blocker has a more reinforced palm so it don't wear out. The part on the inside of the blocker seals up much nicer to stop pucks that come up the paddle. The biggest thing with the glove is individual finger slots. Huge difference. A little bit harder to break In because of more padding in palm tho. But all that said. First difference you will notice is the NuBuck lining in both with the larceny line. So comfy I just love it. I've only had em about a month so I havnt got em broke in fully yet. But I'd say it's definatly worthy of the money if u can spare the change. 👍
I have the L7 full set for almost a month now, 17 games, and haven't felt a single thing thru my pads. Also I think it depends what level you play, ie. how hard someone can shoot. My glove has individual finger slots too, and the nubuck inside. I think they are great though. There are 5 levels where I play and I'm right in the middle so there are good mix of guys who have heavy shots and those who don't. I agree you get what you pay for but I cannot drop 2400-3000 dollars at a time as much as I'd like too, so comparatively they are good, for price as I've stated before.

I'm thinking about getting the Larceny gloves and the L9 pads after trying everything on and reading the feedback here.
Never tried the pads. But my glove and blocker are total beauts. I wanna demo some pads tho. I'm skeptical going to the soft style from my p3's and as far as L7 compared to larceny the lining is totally different.
