Changeable flexes?

Or, are they hiding spots for candy bars?

I never liked stores that just load up their stock of goalie gloves into a bin.

Didn't they have changing flex levels for the X_rated pro pads before Bauer dumped the Itech line.

I saw these pads on this years winter classic. Lundqvist was wearing a set. Looks like a neat idea!

I was in Pro HOckey Life and the sale guy was ranting and raving about them, I'm just not at a level that I need to make changes to my pads that often. The sales guy said you could make changes mid period/midgame.

Why you would need to change a flex mid-game is beyond me, but one great benefit I could see for long-term is if you like a stiff pad but the stiff flex bar goes limp after a year or so, perhaps you could just change the bar instead of getting entirely new pads. That is, if they're planning on selling those bars separately from the pads.

I WISH there was a single store remotely close to me that had enough goalie gear to put it into a bin. :D
