I'm looking for a new set pads. I plan on buying the glove, blocker, and pads at the same time and preferably the same brand. Sherwood bought TPS and the stuff they're producing looks pretty good. I'm a fan of stiffer pads so these look to be one of my top choices. Sadly I couldn't find a thread with anything about them. The pads are the TT100 PL33's and I know Niemi uses them. Also I wear a 33 +2 in RBK premier III. I feel my pads are a tad shorter than i'd like and my knee fits fin in a 33. Would a 33 +3 be too much pad?

Weird that Niemi is in Vaughns now, isn't it?

Well, you can definitely keep looking at the Sher-woods because they are stiff, or you can look at other really stiff pads like no break Reeboks (Hiller [Kohos], Giguere, Price). I've heard the new Brian's Sub Zeros are stiff, too. And, like Itech said, the Rituals look very stiff and sit high, as well.

If you're used to 33+2, then 33+3 should be fine, depending on your height. My next pads will be 33+3.5 coming from 34+2. I shouldn't have a bit of a problem at all.

Take a look at the new TGC spec sherwoods. They're very impressive and are only 999.99 which you cant beat. Plus the weight rivals that of subs, mine may even be lighter with my mods :)
