get him to wear it around the house ALOT, opening and closing it all the time, and also put a softball in the palm and tie it up tight to form the shape!! The wearing around the house is a great way to work it in though!

Looking for some advice on how to break in a new trapper. My son just purchased a new JAG blocker and trapper and we're looking for some hints on how to break it in as quick as possible.

I stuck mine under my mattress for a couple of days to get a nice break in it, then wore it around a bunch. Tell him to throw a softball in it (going along Scottish's idea) while he's watching TV or something. And anytime it's not in use, tie it up and store it away.
Some people just deserve a high five... to the face.
See I know something! lol
put shampoo in the crease. it works great. make sure however you break it in, that it is creasing at the most natural feeling point for your son!
Shampoo Really? what does that do? sofetn up the leather I guess. What about the oil that you use for Ball gloves? is that too harsh to use on your trap?
What i do is i put a softball in the pocket of the catcher and then i take a clamp and clamp it on the back of the glove(i open up the back before... duh!).
sounds kinda complicated and awkward with clamps etc!
Hey everyone, I just got my new Revoke PZ glove and blocker yesterday and I was wondering your opinion on the best or proper way to break in a new glove.
I've seen a few sites have said to use a skate oven....but I don't have access to one, so how would you go about breaking it in?
