If you are left-handed, there's a bunch of pro-level trappers and blockers on the super cheap at GoalieMonkey clearance section. Of course, color availability is a mish-mosh.

I saw some of those, the vaughn "vintage" gloves are ridiculously cheap in full right. I grew up playing baseball as a lefty (catch w/right, throw w/left). When I started playing goalie I had to learn to play the other way because gloves weren't available for the proper hands. I also shoot right handed. The idea of learning to play full right is still tempting to me.

Think about online purchase this way... Just add the shipping & taxes right up front. Sometimes totally ruins the "deal". I saw a great deal on an iPod... $5.00. but the shipping was around $190.

A website (Cheap new and used ice hockey goalie pads, Equipment, Techniques, Goalie Info | GoaliePads.org) does this when it quotes out ebay leg pad prices. Nice site... you can search by brand or size or just scour 'em all. Seems to catch most ebay listings for legpads.

Doing some online browsing for sticks, SportChek has some goalie sticks, listed at $10-$20 less than Pro Hockey Life. That's not bad if you only want 1. PHL is offering their stick deal - buy 1 wood stick, get 2nd for 40% off, buy 1 composite, get 2nd for 20% off.
