    Default Chest protectors

So i currently have a Bauer x40 chest protector. I like it but i can see there will be some protection issues with it and would like to upgrade.
I tried on every chest protector at the Hockey shop. Most feel to big & bulky.
I liked the Bauer pro the best.
Does anyone have this one and what do you think about it?

I tried on the Bauer X40 at the store and the only plus I had to say about it was how flexible it was, so much range of movement, felt like I was wearing nothing more than a puffy jacket!! Other than that I had lots of issues with protection, ribs, collar bone, arm area.

I bought the Reebok Pro Spec instead, but like you said it is a bigger and bulkier chesty, but I prefer that. The Vaughn Epic range I dont think is as bulky, and has alot of mobilty without compromising protection!

Don Simmons offers great mobility at a low price. I have a Vaughn Epic 8800 and it has awesome mobility, but it was costly.

As pretty much everyone already knows...I'm a Vaughn whore so you know where my opinion is going...lolol. I've got the Velocity for ice hockey and my newest addition is the Legacy 4000 that I'm using for ball hockey. Both are very good chestys, but like rfalls said they can be pricey if you don't find a deal.
