The Passau has the same level of mobilty, it has a softer feel to its construction which elimates the break in period feeling. They have also nailed the shoulder area protection issue and has a better fitting system.

Both are great units, but Passau wins it for its shoulder protection for me

I'm a skinny guy & I'm afraid the large is going to be bulky, but I'm not sure if a medium will be long enough in the arms. Any thoughts? Thanks!
I'm 5'9 1/2" at 152 lbs. I used to wear this chest protector in large. Since I use to be 188 lbs and have lost 36 lbs...I was practically swimming in the large so last week, I purchased the same Bauer PRO chest and arms in medium. Now its a perfect fit. My waist also went from a tight 34" to a loose 31". My pants are still the medium Bauer PRO pants (I tried the small but were too tight) but at least I can now put the chest protector in the pants and use the eyelet to strap the chesty to my pants. Before with the big gut...I played with the chesty on the outside, "never tucked in" but now I can! The last time I tucked in my chesty was in my late teens/early twenties and then as I got older and my gut started to get bigger, I had to wear the chesty on the outside. Now for the first in close to 25 years...I can finally play with it tucked in again!

Here's a guide for Bauer PRO Chest and Arm Sizing.

    Medium 5'6" to 5'9" 66" - 69" 167cm - 176cm
    Large 5'10" to 6'0" 70" to 72" 177cm - 184cm
    X-Large 6'1" to 6'5" 73" to 77" 185cm - 196cm

Hope this helps with regards to Bauer PRO Chest and Arms.

I feel like the medium would be the best fit for my body, but it seems the arms might be short. This does help, though. Thanks!
