This is a discussion on Custom Sub Zero Catcher within the Equipment Reviews forums, part of the The Gear category; I ordered my Sub Zero Catcher on November 15, 2011 from AutoLinks by http://www.autolinker.com ', BGCOLOR, '#DDDDDD', BORDERCOLOR, '#3399CC', BORDERWIDTH, ...
I ordered my Sub Zero Catcher on November 15, 2011 fromGoalie Monkey in California. I was told 8-10 weeks, because Brian's factory shuts down for 2 weeks around Christmas. I called back January 18, 2012 to see the progress of my order. I was told everything was on schedule and I should get it soon...I was skeptical about not having a delivery date or anything. I called the goalie manager to talk with someone with more authority. Rob the manager looked deep into my file to see the mistake that was made. They sent the order e-mail to Brians on November 15th like normal, but never received a confirmation e-mail in return. Brians never received the order until they reentered it January 18th...Thank God I called to check on the progress. They told Brians the mistake and Brians expedited my order. They said they could finish it in 2 weeks from January 18th!! I was told that the Catcher only takes 3 days to make. When you custom order the catcher you're put at the back of the line. They have to complete all of their prior tasks before even starting on your new order. Brians truely has amazing customer service to fix the mistake in an orderly fashion. I have to thank Rob theGoalieMonkey goalie manager for all his help and support bringing clarity and resolving my situation. I love this Catcher it closes like butter on day 1. It's so light weight and highly protective. You don't feel shots at all.

The ONLY thing better than tea with Miss McGill
Integrated cuff! I love it!
Good on Brian's. That's the way to do business!!
If you guys haven't picked up a SZ glove yet, DO IT NOW. It feels incredible. Ready right off the shelf and is comfy.
Nice!!! Glad to hear everything worked out well for you. I've had nothing but good luck with Brian's as well.

We haven't had too many issues, but when we have had them Brian's has come through with flying colors. It doesn't suprise me that they have given fantstic service again! Glad you got everything sorted out and that you like the glove.

Gorgeous glove. I tried some on at The Hockey Shop here and they felt amazing.
I put it in the oven at 150 and loosened it up once before taking it on the ice. I have had many gloves in my career. I always enjoyed Vaughn gloves starting with the 5500 then the Epic and Velocity. Without a second thought the Sub Zero is the best catcher by far. I use magnesium carbonate on my hands also known as gymnast chalk to keep my hands dry so my gloves don't slip. There is no need for white messy powder with the Sub Zero. The hand grips a material that gets stickier as you sweat. I have better grip on my glove in the 3rd period than I do in warm ups. The protection is amazing. I haven't felt a stinger plus it weighs a half pound lighter than the new Reebok.
Dang. I'm jonesing for one of these. Must stop reading these forums. Must not buy new glove . .
I think the Sub Zero is at the top of my list for a new glove this year (I am very much a Vaughn guy) but I like the over all design of this glove, I have to compare it to the Vaughn V5 and the newWarrior !
