use bunge cord's(CB cords to be specific;by Bargan)4 to a pack, about 5-6"long with small METAL hook's.That's key because I've had the SAME cord's
on my SMITH's(3000-4000,not sure of model, bought used)for 2 and half season's.Just minor adjustment's to the hook to get the right feel(to loose, they come-off,to tight you feel-it from you're skate laces)
I'll try to post some pic's if there are peaple interested.

It's my first ice time tonight with the flex toes, trying to get a more Butterfly style outta my old Itech Vamp 10.8's and if it helps relieve the stress on my hips all the better. Hope they last long enough until I can afford some new pads (looking long and hard at the Passau and Simmons sets)

my son loves his Flex Toes..and to be honest so do we as his parents not having the toe ties anymore. Only issue we have come across is the size of the hook .. as he uses the Bauer Vapor XIV the front opening on the cowling is very small just big enough to squeeze them through one at a time

Used them last night and loved them. I really like how secure my pads feels while I'm standing up and the rotation is really good when I go down in butterfly, lets just hope they can last, the hooks system makes me weary. Thumbs Up so far.

Good idea just don't like how cheap the plastic was. After 3 sessions clips on both laces snapped.

Pick-up new pad's(new to me)Pete Smith 6000 and put the same bunge cord's on them as well. With the channel on the 6000,they rotate really nice and the cord's bring's them back nicely with no problem's.

You're doing something strange then, because I've had a set for 6+ months, more than once without issue.

Did as instructed in the video. Both times during games I noticed the flapping. Looked down and clips broken.

I've been thinking of getting them, at least to try over the summer. Reviews seem kind of hit or miss though...
