well i guess ( due to the current contest) i have put this review off long enough!! i am going to try and break down my rx9's. sooo here goes
These are Canadian made itech pro pads. got them for $799 down from $1500 offGoalie Monkey .
for flexibility: these pads are a dream. i tried on almost every other popular pad and none could even closely compare to the flexibility off the shelf of these. including bauer one 95, vaughn velo 4, rbk premier and revoke. 10/10 for flex
durability: the "leather" on these pads has stood up VERY well to regular use. i have one problem area on the nylon type fabric at the top of the calf wrap. it is fraying and will need to be patched. other than that no problems. 8.5/10 durability
mobility: these pads are great to skate in, they move very nicely and slide just as well. one note here is the sliding surface of the knee block seems a bit over size, but i do not do a lot of shuffle or overdriving. 9/10
pros: strap system fully adjustable with leather loops to choose strap height. knee rolls to deaden rebounds. great rebound control. very comfy knee stack. selectable flex. ( stiff, med, soft )
cons: calf wrap durability, knee block slightly oversized.
overall 9/10
i LOVE this pad.... try it out, u will too!
