How's the belly padding on this? Have you taken any really hard shots to the stomach? Can you compare the belly padding to the ones your Itech & Reebok chesites?

Just from comparing my chesty to the RBK Pro Spec and Bauer Ultra Pro I would say...

Way more protective than the RBK Pro Spec
Equally if not slightly more than Ultra Pro

How ever this is just an off ice hands on assessment, how ever I will follow up after I get it on the ice with mine.

I continually take hard shots with this chesty, most of the players in my league can really fire the puck. One guy on my own team has been clocked at 96 MPH with his slap shot.

Reebok Pro Spec Pro, never once gave me any protection issues. But it was big, bulky, and not the most mobile option.

Itech/Bauer Pro chesty was terrible for protection, I only had it a few months cause I kept getting bruised.

I've had zero bruises in this chesty, and I recommend it to everyone. Even the kids in the Goalie Gear Sluts United group call me Mr. Passau cause I'm always pointing out the chesty.

The belly padding is pretty much equal to that of the Reebok Pro Spec Pro in protection level.

I had an idea. I am going to get a chest protector, and then save for this one.

Definitely considering getting one of these. I got a set of Passau gloves and they are amazing. The craftsmanship and comfort are second to none and I would love to get more gear from Passau.

Saw on facebook that they added an "oversized" option. Anybody tried it yet?

There is one guy on the facebook group GGSU (Goalie gear sluts united) who got the Oversized option. There is a custom charge, but he said he loves it so far.

Does the "oversized" option just apply to the floating shoulder? Or are there other parts of the unit that are enlarged?
