This is a discussion on Vaughn Vintage Blocker board broken within the Goalie Equipment Modification forums, part of the The Gear category; Living in the south poses many problems for hockey players, but especially goalies...getting most of my equipment online sight unseen ...
Living in the south poses many problems for hockey players, but especially goalies...getting most of my equipment online sight unseen except for pics and description is tough.
My Vaughn blocker was in need of slight stitch up on the downside front corner. Upon disassembly, I found all the foam seperated and the plastic board broke in 2. I can glue the foam, but need a replacement board...found one online from Hockey Heaven in Toronto...any other options? Sent a note to the folks I bought it from and am awaiting a reply.
thanks for any help....cuz right now its gonna get the "good ol boy" treatment till a new one is found....or maybe I can stop by Marshall Space Flight Center and put in some "secret" NASA stuff

I ended up gluing the foam back together and duct taping the board, then taping everything back together....tight fit going back in, but it will live

You can also usually get plastic sheet stock in different thicknesses from Home Depot. Plus, you'd have enough to do as many/few layers as wanted/needed.
