Goalie vs. Goalie Fight?

So have any of you fellow goalies ever had a goalie vs. goalie fight? I'm all my years in this position I have never got in a fight with another goalie..Close but she never did come all the way across the red line.

I came up to 2 maybe 3 feet from the blue line on my side because she was screaming and carrying on. So I thought hm why not see what happens. The two refs were busy trying to beak up the line brawl (this was in a coed game the beg. of this year) And so she called me out and I went to the blue. Knew better then to cross it if she wanted to fight she'd have to come to me.

She got to the red but wouldnt come any closer. After about 3 mins of her posturing I got bored and went back to my net. We all thought she'd come after me. But her coach wisely called her over to the bench. She stood maybe 5'3 so I had a good 3 inches on her and prolly at least 100 lbs. She probably would've lost our fight and I would've felt bad lol

As for a reg fight? I can admit to having a few scuffles in my hockey years

Never with the other goalie, but plenty with the forwards though over the years...lol

Never goalie vs. goalie, but I did fight a forward once. Beat the ever living crap out of him, too. Good thing I got the first real pop in, too, as I found out afterwards the guy was psycho. He left pretty bloody. Me? Not a scratch. :)

Nope, never. No one in my beer league would go near me because I'm female (and my husband is a big hulking D-man), and in the womens' league I play in, I just can't see that happening. I've gotten into it with a few forwards though. Not actual fights, but your typical goalie revenge stuff.
