What's the most embarrasing goal you've let in?

My most embarrassing goal was about 5 games ago, the opposing player on the other team was being pressured so he just shot the puck as hard as he could from his own faceoff dot. I wasn't gonna play the puck but it was just gonna pass the net so i think "hey ill just pass the puck up to my teammate and make it so the other team cant change" and the puck was just outside the crease when i go to stop the puck and shoot it to my captain but about a foot away from me it hits a chip in the ice and changes direction and i swung and missed the puck and it went 5-hole on me. I felt like an idiot and we ended up losing that game 6-3.

opp team threw a dump in from their end, so I went for a paddle down to stop it, when I got up to play the puck I saw the other team cheering, looked behind me and there it was in the dam net! not a good feeling.

Sadly I've done this twice. From the right corner, a guy just shoots the puck on net to make something happen and it goes off my skate and into the net. Haven't done it since the second time though...guess there's something to be said about fool me twice, you can't get fooled again.

Pass went across crease, I attempted a slide across, but dug my leading skate into the ice, which not only stopped the slide dead, I ended up flopping over onto my side. Of course, the shooter had time to get coffee and a kit-kat before putting the puck in the net.

Too many to pick out just one. For example, trapping the puck under my glove on a dump-in, then try to sweep it to a teammate behind me but it goes in. Going out to play a puck and get plowed over and the puck just trickles in. A couple of examples. Painful.

I was working one side of the net and the opponent went behind the net for a wrap-around and when I tried to push off of the post I dug in too hard and ended up falling flat on my arse. I swear I made such a loud THUMP the entire arena heard me hit the ice. Stick went flying and everything. I was in such shock that I was on my rear and not on the other side of the net I just sat there dazed and confused while they wrapped it around and lit the lamp. I didn't hear the end of that one for awhile....

Mine was probably about a year and a half ago in an annual Vegas tourney that a bunch of us play in. It was our final round robin game, and we needed a win to secure a spot in the final.

I think I was one of the most sober people on the team, but about a minute in, an opposition player dumps the puck on net from behind the blue line, and peels off for a change. I've got a d-man coming in, with another opposing player following him. I go to just redirect the puck to the other side of my crease for him to keep going, and head back up ice.

I've made the play hundreds of times before, and while the puck doesn't always do what I want it to do, I keep it away from the opposition. This time though, puck bounces, up over the blade of my stick, between my legs, and into the net. Ended up losing the game 9-4.

Too many. The worst was in an official game, midget B.
Well, the puck was in our end. The opposing team was working the puck around. I was moving left to right wherever the puck was going. At one point, their player takes a shot, I move to make the save but I completely miss it. It looked like the player shot it wide too. I turn around. Not only is the puck in the net, I was way out between the crease line and the right face-off circle and I was facing the shooter from that position. He was around the left face-off dot so he was basically shooting in an open net. I was working on position and cutting down the angle on the shooter so that is why I was far out. I felt awful and stupid. I attached a picture. I am the black circle and the black arrow shows the direction I was facing. The shooter is the green circle and green arrow shows the direction he was facing. The blue line is the direction of the puck.
