What is your Goalie Number? And why did you choose that one?

Wow, this came up in the GGSU yesterday, same poster? I use 33, for obvious reasons, Mr. Roy.

I use this number whatever sport I play and whatever position.
I don't know why, I just like it.

I wear 39... I would have picked 35 but it was already taken (by a fwd! what's up with that?!). I won't wear 30 because even though it's a "goalie number" I'm in NJ and everyone will assume it's for Marty but I am NOT a Devils fan. Haha. So I went with 39, because it's an odd number (I don't like even numbers) and if it was good enough for Hasek, it's good enough for me.

My first number was 39 it was for Hasek when he was in Detroit and I was 6 about this time. The next was 37 for Kolzig and I ran that for a couple years. Then after a couple years of playing forward I changed my number to 48. One reason was for Daniel Briere and the 2nd reason was I just wanted something totally random so people ask me "why did you choose this #?" So I ran #48 for a few years then now I have #30 for Ryan Miller and thats the only goalie jersey my school has that fits me for goalie
