Default First NHL game! Tips for getting autographs?

I'm back :) Well, for a few weeks at least until my school schedule starts getting hectic again. Myself & my best friend are going to see Nashville vs. Ottawa on February 9th, in Ottawa. It's going to be my first NHL game (shocking, I know), and I was wondering if anybody has any tips on the best place to go to get their autographs, where/when they have their morning skate, or any other tips that I could use.

I'm bringing my goalie helmet and was planning on standing around the side of the rink where the Preds players will be arriving to see if I could get Pekka Rinne's autograph on the #35 on the chin part. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible on who I get. Any tips at all would be greatly appreciated :)

And don't worry, I'll be sure to post pictures once I get back

Usually after the game, near the Zamboni entrance, one or two players will come out and sign autographs. Most of the visiting teams stay at the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata, so you could hang around there early afternoon before the players head over to the arena.

The entrance near the YMCA has stairs down to the locker room level, but I'm pretty sure they have security posted there, but it might work. Other than that, walk around the building and find the bus entrance, maybe you'll get lucky. :)

Goalies like their own.... hopefully the mask with will be enough to entice him to come sign it.
