I'm diabetic and my Doc recently changed my insulin injection to the a.m. . Well last weekend I played my first morning game of the year, probably should of adjusted the dose a bit. Played great the first period but by the second I was having a low blood sugar episode..had to stop and eat some sport's beans, was shaky and couldn't concentrate, let in three goals...two of which should of been easy stops. Drank more gatorade and recovered a bit by the third but we still lost 2-3.

That's kind of scary, really. But I guess you'll be a bit better prepared next game, haha.

Taking a nap. I tend to just want to go back to sleep once my alarm goes off to get up.

Went to lunch with my family before practice and they decided to order one of those "Bloomin' Onion" things. That was one of the nastiest things I've ever burped up. Never again. Of course I guess I didn't have to eat it. Lol.

Ate two huge cinnamon buns for breakfast because I was backing up that day. Sure enough as I'm leaving the continental breakfast room coach walks in and tells me he's changed his mind and it's my start.
