Thats awesome. How good would that have been to be playing in that game!
Have you ever had a dream that you were so sure was real? What if you could not wake up from that dream, how would you tell the difference between the real world and the dream?
Man, I can only imagine how much of a rush it would be to suddenly have a crowd cheering you on :) There needs to be stuff like this happening more often
That must have been awesome! One time to look up and see stands full of fans would be so sweet.
A goalie must have one overriding quality-- he must want to be a goalie. - Emile Francis
Nobody understands the position who hasn't played it. Hockey is a team game, but for a goalie, it's more like an individual sport. - John Garrett
I've been there, sort of. I stepped out of the locker room and fans were everywhere. Stands were full.
Then, I went up to the glass and watched the last minute of whatever game was being played. The game ended. Fans went crazy at the buzzer. By the time the Zamboni was done cleaning the ice, the stands were nice and empty for our Midget B practice.

Can you imagine the amount of work that went into this. wow
The ONLY thing better than tea with Miss McGill
terrible goaltending... lol
A few games ago I got there early and got half dressed and, as usual, went out to watch the rest of the game before ours. I look up in the stands and there were about 40 Orthodox Jewish men sitting in the stands. Yarmulkes, tassels, beards, and everything. Now, this is in a mall, so you can never be quite sure whether they just dropped in to a look or whether they were there for someone. They did cheer after the one goal I saw, but I still had no idea if they were there for someone or what. They were gone by the time my game started, though.
a group of me and my buddies rented the Saddledome during the lockout and we had like 60 people show up friends and family and it was pretty cool so I can imagine having something like that happen would be hard to concentrate when you weren't on the ice.
