Well game two ended up just like the first, a 1 goal loss. Except this time I was mostly part of the problem. That and well a lot of standing around and not moving of the feet by the entire team. But I could have kept them in it a little better, but I had played the night before and I was tired. No excuses, I still own the suckage.
We played our first hockey game of the 2011/2012 Winter ASHL Season. We ended up losing 4-3 in OT, and it was a frustrating loss for me because I felt I played great. I may several insane saves that I had no business making. The goals that went in were tough to prevent. First goal one of my defensemen decides to crouch down in a ball in front of the player as he's winding up. This shields the puck from view, and the guy sees this and snaps the puck around my dman, I didn't see it until it was on
So we ended up in #2 place in the division, with a record of 10-3-0-1. Not bad of a record and we had a great time.
However, the playoffs had us playing the #7 team. They beat us in the best 2 out of 3. Very disappointing considering we beat them in the regular season.
Looking forward to our Winter 2011/2012 season, as it's usually much more competitive and the ice is better once it cools off outside. :)
The regular season has come to an end, with an amazing start of 13 wins in a row, and then stumbling for a bit we ended up with the most points on the season. 42.

Finally we bump the slump, we win our first game in the new division. After starting out 13 wins in a row, and since being on a slide of 4 losses and 2 OTLs. We finally pull our game together in an afternoon game on a Saturday.
The team we were playing was a little short benched, they had 10 guys, 2 full lines. We had 11. I think the game being so early gave us a bit of an edge. Our overall team average age is quite high, so those late games of teams full of guys in their early 20s
