Played my second game of the season last night for the Ft. Garry Flyer's. This game was a lot more challenging, as I didn't feel as ready for this game as the previous one. The first shot was a high ringer that hit me straight in the middle of the head, and somehow after that I was able to get into the game. They had about 3 or 4 shots in the first period, all somewhat decent scoring chances, but I stopped them all.

This was my first game with my new team, so I wanted to make a good impression. Things started well for me when I robbed a guy on a cross crease pass, which set the tone for the rest of a game. I got around only 12-13 shots, but four were breakaways, so they were all good scoring chances. The other goalie wasn't very good, as it was 4-0 after the first period, but he settled down in the second, and the final score was 7-0.

I really liked Itech's blogs, so I decided I would give it a shot.
Anyways, this year I tried out for the high school team, and beat out 4 out of the 7 goalies, so they kept me on as an AP (or third string goalie). This is fairly decent because next year, I pretty much make the team automatically, and the only reason I didn't make the team this year, was because of a meh performance in an exhibition game. I felt I had the best training camp out of all the goalies, but whatever.
