Now Registering for ALL Mind The Net Goaltending Summer Camps 2012

It is that time of year, again, where goaltenders (and their parents) are starting to decide what to do for goaltending development over the summer months. As of now, Mind The Net Goaltending, Saskatchewan’s PREMIER goaltending school and official goaltending consultants for the Saskatchewan Hockey Association, is taking registrations for our Top Prospects (established Midget “AAA” up to Pro), Midget “AAA” Prep (aspiring Midget “AAA” goaltenders), Bantam Prep (going into first or second year of Bantam) and Atom/PeeWee Camps for the summer 0f 2012.

If you are new or returning to Mind The Net Goaltending one of the biggest selling features, aside from high quality instruction and caring staff, is the low registration numbers accepted at each camp. If you think a goalie school that puts 12, 16, 24 or even 44 goalies (plus instructors and shooters) on the ice at one time is effective then you need to seriously consider Mind The Net Goaltending. Sure we could put 24+ goaltenders on the ice at one time, but we are here to help each and every goaltender receive the best instruction possible. The best instruction possible is truly found in personalized attention. Mind The Net Goaltending ONLY accepts:

•Six goaltenders per Top Prospects Camp.
•Eight goaltenders per Midget “AAA” Prep Camp.
•Eight goaltenders per Bantam Prep Camp.
    •Nine goaltenders per Atom/PeeWee Camp.

Basically, the student to instructor ratio is as low as 1.5:1 up to a maximum of 3:1.
The summer camps schedule, in order of date the camps are being held, goes as follows:

Midget “AAA” Prep Camp(five day camp): July 16-July 20, 2012. See link for more details or to register: Mind the Net

Top Prospects Camps x2 (five day Stacked camps): July 23-27, 2012. See link for more details or to register: Mind the Net

Bantam Development Camp #1(four day camp): July 30-August 2, 2012. See link for more details or to register: Mind the Net - NOW FULL
Bantam Development Camp #2(four day camp): August 23-26, 2012. See link for more details or to register: Mind the Net

Atom/PeeWee Camps x3 (three, three day camps):
Camp #1 – August 10-12, 2012: See link for more details or to register: Mind the Net
Camp #2 – August 13-15, 2012: See link for more details or to register: Mind the Net
Camp #3 – August 16-18, 2012: See link for more details or to register: Mind the Net

And finally, MTN Goaltending is once again offering the 15% referral discount. This referral discount is open to ALL students, new or returning, the discount is simple. If you refer another goaltender (whether friend, acquaintance, or sibling) that registers for ANY of the MTN Camps being offered for the Summer of 2012 you will receive a 15% discount off the cost of your registration. Only on discount per goaltender.

So, if training with purpose, precision and passion is what you are ready to do, if you are ready to take your game to the next level, then Mind The Net Goaltending is something you need to experience.

If any GCN members are from Alberta, Manitoba, North Dakota or Minnesota we would be thrilled to have students from outside Saskatchewan attend. We have had students from as far away as Ontario come to our camps. Our camps are held in a small town just east of beautiful Saskatoon, which can be an excellent place to visit and stay in the summer. There are lots of festivals and the River Landing is incredible.

Plus, I know a really great goalie school in the area.

I've only been to Saskatoon once, and it was in February. There was 3 feet of snow and it was -30 I believe. Yet it was so beautiful... The City of Bridges I think was the nickname. I was DJ'ing in a church's gym I believe, what a weird couple of days.

There should be a fair amount of people within the range of your camps. If it's summer, it's EASY PEASY driving...

Less than a week into taking registrations and there has been a flurry of activity. By the end of this week we will be over half full for the Bantam Camp and registrations are pouring in for all of the Atom/PeeWee camps. Be sure to register soon as all camps will fill quickly.

If you are unsure about whether to try the MTN Goaltending experience, which is very different compared to most other goalie schools, be sure to send an e-mail or, even better, give me a call at home (the best time is usually after 8:00pm SK time).

Hopefully, we see some GCN members make their way to one of our camps this summer.

For some it is a long distance, but for people in Eastern alberta, Western Manitoba and Northern USA the trip is doable. If anyone from outside of SK is thinking of making the trek, please send me an e-mail or call (306)236-5020. Hopefully, we see some of you this summer.

Scottish - As of now there are no plans to come to Vancouver, but maybe there needs to be some discussions about setting up an adult camp in Vancouver or Victoria (as I played Jr. A in Victoria and Powell River). We certainly are interested, but the logistics are daunting...

Due to our first Bantam Development Camp selling out within three weeks of registrations being accepted we have just finalized a SECOND Bantam Development Camp to be held August 23-26, 2012. This camp will be the same set up as the first camp because it is still held in Aberdeen, SK, will receive the same great instruction and perks, will cost the same and will only accept eight goaltenders.

We already have four goaltenders on the waiting list for this camp, so registrations must be sent in ASAP. This is shaping up to be Mind The Net’s best summer ever with lots of new instruction and the addition of two camps (an extra Bantam and Atom/PeeWee).

So, if you are looking to give yourself or your goaltender an advantage going into next season we highly suggest you get registered with us for this second Bantam Development Camp. For more information be sure to contact us:
