The 40-year-old goaltender who has led the team to three Stanley Cups, signed a two-year, $9 million contract Monday to stay with the only NHL club he's ever known.
Even though I am a Islanders fan I am so happy to see Marty stay with the Devils and looks like retire with them. It would be way to weird to see him in any other uniform with a different helmet paintjob.

I'm a Blackhawks fan and It would be exiting to have him come here, but I really want him to finish his career in NJ.
2-year, $9 mil? Well, he performed pretty well for 40 years old. Goalie is the easiest position anyway.
That was a joke. I think he'll want to stay involved in hockey rather than retire at 42.

As a diehard Hawks fan I would have loved to have him here, but anything other than Devils' red on Marty would have looked wrong. Very happy I get to see him in net again next year. I never get tired of those pad stacks...
