Cammalleri's good, but I don't think he's going to be great for very long. Let's face it the flames suck, and will suck for many years to come.

Canadiens trade Cammalleri to Flames for Bourque
going first with the roster players, Cammalleri is the better player out of the deal over Bourque. Unfortunately Bourque had a habit of taking bad penalties at important times in the game.
Holland was an emerging prospect for the Flames, and it sucks to trade a 2nd round pick.
acquiring Ramo don't know alot about the guy but the talk is that he's one of the best goalies in Russia.

From a Flames standpoint it really doesn't make sense.. just putting off the inevitable, which is that they need a rebuild. I guess if nothing else he's an asset they can trade away at the deadline to a contender, although his yearly salary might be prohibitive. To a mediocre, on-the-cusp team, though, they could probably afford it.
Ramo has been one of the top goalies in the KHL, but he was also terrible in his stints in the NHL. I remember seeing him, everyone talking about such a highly touted prospect. His positioning was terrible, he played incredibly small, and wasn't particularly quick, even. It makes sense for the Flames to pick him up, though, as if they're planning on trading Kipper away that will open up the possibility of a starting spot, and Ramo might come back over for that (he's a starter in the KHL).
The Canadiens are having an awful season and have a new coach. Any trade isn't going to make a major difference. The Habs took a hit on that trade, kind of. If Bourque comes in with a very positive attitude, like Budaj did, that helps overall team morale. Cammaleri was a Debbie Downer and you can't have that on a losing team trying to turn things around.

Bourque is a good player, and will be liked for a little while. Attitude doesn't seem to be an issue but motivation is his thing, keeping him motivated will be the problem as when he's motivated, he can make the trade look even in terms of him and Cammi and turn it into Montreal's favor because of the picks and Holland.
