Miller on the trade block?
If there is any truth to this, what am I going to do with all my Miller t-shirts?!?! Do I start rooting for the team he moves to? Do I get angry if Enroth is not moved to the number one position? Will him leaving give the Sabres a better shot at winning Lord Stanley?

CAN SOMEONE IN/AROUND BUFFALO HELP PUT A POOR KENTUCKIAN'S MIND TO REST?!?!?!?!?!
I think it's time for him to leave anyway.
I think there was a comment on that had me thinking, who's even looking for a goalie right now?
I'm just glad my Kick save crunch doesn't have any Sabres markings on it... won't make me as bitter when I look at it if he does leave, haha!

Philly is always looking for a goaliebut there is nothing to say he can't go somewhere to fight for the starter in the last half of the season.
A goalie must have one overriding quality-- he must want to be a goalie. - Emile Francis
Nobody understands the position who hasn't played it. Hockey is a team game, but for a goalie, it's more like an individual sport. - John Garrett
That Kick-Save Crunch cereal box is awesome lol. When was that done?
Though highly unlikely, swapping him to a team like the Islanders would, outside of division/conference rivals, make a ton of sense. NYI gets a starter who isn't injured, and Buffalo would take back Montoya or Nabokov as a rental of sorts that would be thrown in with some youngsters/prospects. I would also expect Edmonton be in on this.. they could use a goalie like Miller since Khabi and Dubnyk have been inconsistent. Tampa might be in it, as well, since their goaltending is downright terrible this year. Columbus would likely enjoy swapping Mason out of there since he hasn't exactly worked out. So there are many different options to consider.
As an avid Oilers fan, I would be thrilled if they could bring in someone like Miller without breaking up the core of the team. That being said, considering the team in front of them, I feel that Khabi and Dubnyk have had pretty decent years - Dubey is on a pretty solid roll at the moment.
Both have certainly had their ups and downs, as has the rest of the team, but both have save percentages over 0.910 this year, so overall they're having some pretty solid seasons, even if the wins and losses don't reflect that.
But back to my original reason for the post. If the Oilers could manage to unload Khabi and his contract, bring in a guy like Miller who may well just need a change of scenery, and not give up anything overly significant, I would be one happy Oil fan going into next season!

I think the best bet would be to keep him. He has been a consistent goalie for years, and with Enroth coming up now, I think Buffalo would be well suited to roll with both of them, similar to Boston with Thomas and Rask.
Also, Miller has a pretty expensive contract that might be a bit hard to move, if they wanted to. And his trade value is at a low right now too, so by trading them Buffalo might shoot themselves in the foot.
Miller has said that he doesn't want to leave, and I'm guessing that unless Buffalo gets a real good offer, that he won't be moving.
