That was crazy. Shooter could have picked a corner and it would have been an easy goal. Nice reaction though. This is something that was a difficult save. It was something a non-NHL goalie would have had a hard time saving. Total talent. No luck.

sick, loooved it. great game, solid goal tending at both ends
It began with something that could have ended up in a goalie blooper reel, and ends up in the goalie highlight reel lol
What I love the most is he slid in to position on his stomach, and waited for the shooter to shoot before he panicked. If he had of raised his arm early, it would have given Brendan Morrison a target to miss. If that makes any sense.

...and Luongo is STILL the starting goalie. I'm probably reading too much into this, and my disdain for Luongo certainly plays into my comment, but notice how Schneids gets the start against one of the best teams in the league after the break? Unless Luongo is hurt, this says a lot.

meh, he created the turnover, the shot was poor, and he didn't actually catch the puck. I give it a 5/10
i think the nucks want to tease other teams and sand bag them by starting the back up and ending up with the win.
in all honesty schneider is incredible and could be a top ranked starter

That was really good battling on Schneids part. Its not often that he has to make desperation saves as his positioning is always so good.
Whats the situation with Schneider? Could the Canucks sign him? Do we have to make sure we trade him before his contract is up?
It would be such a shame to trade him, but if were gonna lose him anyway than i guess its the right thing to do.
Have you ever had a dream that you were so sure was real? What if you could not wake up from that dream, how would you tell the difference between the real world and the dream?
