one question with the foot position in the butterfly. my toes tend to point out instead of back(kinda like the pic above). I am just wondering if it is kinda an unfair advantage for with the toes out(wider measure) or is it just based on measureing the same everytime? thanks
I'm in. I'll try and post a pic ASAP.
I'm in ...but I don't know how much farther I can go.
I'd like to try it. I just started playing again. I had to quit at age 18 due to a low back spinal injury. Another auto accident and majior surgery a couple of years ago has given me new hope. Now at age 52 I don't have the flexibility I had [splits both ways] but I can still play. Been back on the ice for about 20 games now and having a blast.
2foottroper - Thats awesome that your back on the Ice and playing again! I wish you best of luck for you seasoN!
Gimme a couple of days man!! ha ha just kidding. I am still a little swamped with training athletes in the gym - the Junior hockey group finished up this week, but the pro guys are still around for a few more weeks - so time is at a bit of a premium. HOWEVER i did create the program today and shot the video, so now I just need to edit the video and get it posted. My goal is to have it up on Sunday at the latest - I am ON IT!!!
For the measurements; knees must be together! Foot position can be whatever, as long as you do it the same every time - we are looking for improvement over time.
Cheers,
Maria
There's some nay sayers over at the big green board. They think people will hurt themselves for the competition. I personally think people are smart enough to know their limitations. Be smart, follow the advice that Maria gives. Push yourselves, but don't hurt yourselves.
Common sense goes a long way.
