I have no idea if i can still do this. super busy weeks comin up in between school, driving school, drivers ed, friends, school, family, school, hockey, fixing a 1993 Lexus thats overheating and i have no idea why, school, homework, and other social activities. Did I mention school and homework? :(
Yea the LAX ball is quite uncomfortable that is for sure, but doing all this on a yoga mat makes it feel a little better.
Yes it does make you a wuss!!! ha ha - just kidding. Use your arms to reduce the load a little bit until you are used to it or use a tennis ball which is a bit softer. It will be uncomfortable, but should not make it so you have to sit on one of those rubber ring things all day!!
Great job gang!

If you gain hip internal rotation there will be less stress on your knee at the same angle of flare. Everyone will get more flare with their knees elevated by their pads, so do not force yourself to get as wide as you would with them on. The relative change will still come across fine.
You could also have some restriction in your tibial external rotation which will make it tougher for you to flare your feet flat. Let me know if you find the feeling improves as you go through the program, your flare will improve, but if the foot issue stays, we may want to do a few specific tibial rotation exercises. I hope this answers your question.
Cheers,
Maria
