    Default Butterfly Widening Challenge Workout

    Hey All,

    Here is a challange ( more so for myself so as I actually do these stretches) but feel free to post and keep track of how much progression you make with various excercises and stretches.

    Post a beginning picture of your butterfly flare with a measurement and then keep tracking it weekly to see how much of an increase you are getting.

    I am using Maria's stretching techniques and will post some images tonight to get us started off.

    Default Here is the Butterfly Challenge WORKOUT!!!

    Hi Gang,

    Here is the video for the workout! I will let you guys decide on the exact ground rules - my suggestion is to run the challenge for 4-6 weeks - with measurements at the beginning, the middle and the end. To measure knees need to be touching and measure to the toes.

    Remember this is just for fun; so please don't take a rubber mallet to your hip joints, just so you can win! Although I do appreciate the bragging rights argument! :D



    I am posting a PDF summary of the workout over at Hockey Training Pro. I tried to up load it here, but I got a message that it was too large a file for the site. I am just going to post that blog right now, so give me 30-minutes or so to have it up.

    Ok here's mine. It's 35" from inside of big toe to inside of big toe. (Please disregard the disgusting callused feet. Dancing for several years has that effect.)

    I'm sitting about about 36".

    My goal for 6 weeks is 46" :) hopefully it's obtainable.

    measure 35 inches toe to toe. i would like to get to 45-50 by the time i am at the end of the challenge
