I got both games but im a ps3 guy and they are both really good games but it depends if you wanna play a fast pace arcade style shooter or a slower pace realistic shooter
Battlefield has always been better than COD. Battlefield 3 is amazing.
I don't own the COD i just borrowed it to see what it was like as I had just finished a game and was looking for another to keep me going.
Batman games I highly recommend, as well as the Lego series they are fun!

I have BF3 and COD MW3, and they aren't really the same style of games in my opinion. COD is more fast paced action style, where as BF3 has more strategy to it. I'd be down for playing I suck but I'll play with anyone.

I like both games for that reason, MW3 because if I'm in the mood for fast paced shoot'em action, where there isn't much point in trying to hide and be sneaky I can do it, but if I"m in the mood for some strategy maybe setup some C4 and hide and wait to take out a few guys trying to catch a flag, I can as well. So they are both great games and alot of fun.

Battlefield used to be more strategic, but ever since they put in a ****ing kill cam on hardcore, it's ruined the sniping experience for me. Drives me nuts. Also not a big fan of having the MAV used against me, and I REALLY don't like that an engineer can repair a scout helicopter mid flight. ****ing stupid. Honestly, I liked BC2 better than BF3, but I play BF3 because, you know, you can actually connect to it, haha.
I also own MW3 but don't play it much. Eventually I'll get tired of BF3 and will switch for awhile, but not yet.
BTW, I'm on PS3.. feel free to friend me, UN: "synesthete".
