Yeah, I know exactly how you are feeling. I've had a terrible summer in nets. I found a rest from the game helps, and I personally go see my goalie coach, and it always seems to help. Not everyone has that luxury though.

I've just had 15 days off, I'm hoping that's going to help. My knee sure feels better. :)

i kinda go a little crazy when i hit a slump. this past year i started out like 12 straigh twins and then i had a 6 game losing streak and i all of a sudden got superstious. I was wearing different masks, changing the way i wore my c/a, got rid of my thigh boards. it was really bad but i finally won again and kinda got out of the slump. i gotta admit it was 95 percent my mental approach (although i was blaming it on my equipment).

8 months is a short time. You are learning the position and may not win a game for a while. :( That's okay. It's not an easy position. How many players go on without a goal or assist?
Work on things that give you problems. Consider it a plus when you block shots that were a problem before. You learn from your mistakes.

what caveman said. i forgot to mention part of slumps is the team may also lose confidence in its ability to win. when they are on a winning streak it seems like they can't lose and on a losing streak it seems like they can't do anything right which eats away at the teams confidence that it has the ability to win.
