It's not that wide, especially in action.

One thing you might consider is, if possible, taking out the groin inserts in your pants. I can't tell what pants you're wearing, but I wear the 11ks, and they came with groin inserts. What I found, though, is that it actually space my legs out a tad too much, leaving that small gap in the pads. Just a thought!

Was talking about this in another thread, there's padding in the Bauer One95 pants on the inside of the thigh that keeps my knees from getting very close.

I'm considering new pants soon.
